The Antikythera Mechanism is a very cool device:

The movie Zeitgeist has gotten me thinking about the importance that the study of astrological phenomena (as opposed to “astrology”) has had on the advancement of human culture. The viral documentary (distributed by the filmmakers via Google Video) is all about conspiracies which will turn off most people. It looks with skepticism at the story of Jesus in its first part and moves on to 9/11 and the Federal Reserve in its 2nd and 3rd parts. Anyway….find out more about the Antikythera Mechanism here:
