My kendo martial arts group (Choyokan Kendo Dojo) does a demo during the Ginza Holiday Festival at the Midwest Buddhist Temple. Ginza weekend is early this year - the second weekend in August, not the third, to avoid the Air/Water Show noise and the traffic mess. It’s outdoors and a lot of fun; there’s great Japanese food, arts and crafts for sale, and cultural performances.

Our demonstration is Saturday, Aug. 14th @ 1:30PM and Sunday the 15th @ 4:10PM. I will be in the demonstartion on Sunday as I am busy on Saturday.

C’mon out! It’s not like you have better things to do this weekend than eat tonkatsu, drink sake, and listen to some awesome taiko drumming!
