George Lucas revealed Saturday that Star Wars III will be subtitled “Revenge of the Sith.” Nerds everywhere collectively nodded in a agreement that, after over 4 years of disappointing prequel news, Lucas has pretty much nailed this one. They were quick to note that it still doesn’t quite make up for Jar Jar Binks, that kid who played young Anakin or the older dude who is still playing Anakin. Lucas broke a lot of Star Wars DVD product news, but the highlight for me is the slated DVD debut of Lucas’ brilliant minimalist fusion of 1984 and Brave New World, THX 1138.

I’ve been back for a week, but kinda hiding out. Taking care of business, y’know? I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 in Portland, Maine and got pretty bummed about politics.
