I’ve never seen cooler sketchbooks than James Jean’s.
If there was any doubt as to Gulf War II’s effectiveness against terror it is now irrefutable.
Shynola did a nice job on Queens of the Stone Age’s latest video, “Go With The Flow.”
Well, the sham war is over. I never actually saw footage of Iraqis fighting, and it seems like more Coalition Forces were killed by friendly fire than hostile, but our military dominance against pickup trucks full of RPG weilding peasants has never been more sure. At least that brutal dictator is out of power, and will somehow answer for the crimes he commited against those who disagreed with him. But where is he?
“He is not active,” [Mr. Rumsfeld] said. “He is either dead, or incapacitated, or healthy but cowering in some tunnel some place, trying to avoid being caught.”
That narrows it down, but ignores a likely third option: that right now he’s on a secluded Carribean beach, chomping on a Cuban cigar, laughing all the way to the offshore bank. Could he be incredibly relieved that he’ll never have to honor any French, Russian or German oil contracts? Those “Old Europeans” and our one time rival superpower are now more powerless than ever to stand against Imperialist America. Once garaunteed billions are going straight to the Bush cartel, and Saddam is being setup with a new identity as a cattle rancher on a Texas ranch that happens to look a lot like the Iraqi countryside.
